In our June 2008 issue, we took the opportunity to talk to some movie podcasters from all over the web about what movies they think most represent summer and what those movies mean to them in particular.

Fincher returns

Here’s the first trailer for the new movie from Fight Club and Zodiac director David Fincher, called The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (it’s in Spanish, but there are only two lines of dialogue anyway). Like all of Fincher’s work, it’s all about the visuals, and it definitely looks like he delivers here. In a bit of a change of pace from stories about serial killers and anarchist cults, this one’s based on an 80 year old F. Scott Fitzgerald story about a man who turns 80 and starts aging backwards.
